I really loved the language in this book - some of it was so beautiful and both the author and translator are seriously talented!! I found Cora and Julia’s characters to be really believable and well constructed, if not always likeable, and enjoyed witnessing their relationship be challenged by their constantly changing surroundings on the road trip that structures the novel. 

I think because I took way too long to read it, the rating is a bit low, but I do recommend this for those wanting to read a Brazilian author and also a queer tale of two women.
