if you like YA you’re going to love this.
it was objectively a really good YA novel and more original than a lot of the rehashed stuff we’ve been seeing lately but honestly i was kind of bored ?? i think it could be because i didn’t care about the characters that much but i can’t figure out why like yeah they were a little bit flat but not NPC vibes. i also figured out a lot of the big reveal vibes early on which made of lot of the “foreshadowing” passages feel redundant & boring
idk maybe i’m just too old for YA? that’s a sad thought :(
