Daisy Haites by Jessa Hastings
4.0
“No guns at the dinner table.”
This was quite the ride. Just like in Magnolia Parks, I both loved and hated the characters all at the same time. I laughed, sobbed, swooned, highlighted like a crazy person, forgot I was reading, and simply couldn’t put this book down.
I had quite a few thoughts while reading this one and ended up keeping track of them in the notes app on my phone so I’m just going to put them here since I don’t think there is another semi-coherent way to share them:
- I absolutely love Daisy and Christian together. Their relationship turned into the absolute sweetest thing.
- while I love them as a couple, though, it took me a while to come around to Christian. He can be quite the arse (as these British characters would say), especially with Magnolia and BJ (although they do usually deserve it to be honest). But, after, Christian fell in love with Daisy…
