I love Kafka but this was a tough one to get through. Part of what makes Kafka so great is his dense and run on writing style, however it also makes back to back stories a bit labour intensive. I find his short stories to be extra dense. I am however very happy to have read this book. This is an author that is very dear to me, and its nice to have all of his smaller works in one place. My favorite stories from this book include The Metamorphosis, Description of a Struggle, and Investigations of a Dog.
