How anyone can resist the touching tale(s) of Horton, the kind, sweet-tempered, faithful elephant, I don't know. I missed these books starring Horton when I was growing up, but quickly fell in love with his wonderful loyalty when reading these with my own kids when they were young.

Horton's fantastic tale is epic in content and yet suitable for young kids in its length.
