The Queen Thief, is the final book in The Soul Thief Trilogy. From the first sentence we are thrown back into Alkoria, into the fight, there is not one moment of downtime this book gives you. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and keeps you going, keeps you searching for redemption, revenge, victory. Filled with secrets, learning to trust, and many deals brokered in the pursuit of dragging Hermitch to the underrealm, once and for all. A tense, almost-700 page journey to right the wrongs and find peace - internally, for others and for her country.

Im a blended mix of happy and sad. My heart is broken, this book breaks you and heals you. It is the ending to the series that i needed. I feel content. I dont have a million questions and what ifs/what abouts roling in my head. I have an embarrassing amount of butterflies and contentment and love - bandaiding the rawness of my heart.

The Assassin Thief was one of the first books i picked back up after not reading very often, so to be on the other end of the trilogy, to have come through the past few years, is a feeling i cant even begin to describe.

Telli teaches you, reminds you, of your ability to love, to accept who you are, that you are, above all, worthy. To find your family amongst those who would not support you. To forgive, to learn.

I loved watching Teli and Pax’s journey to each other. I LOVED the final battle - the fall. I both wanted to throttle and understand the revenge filled anger grief of Queen Isadora.

And Lotte. I loved her in book 1 and there was nothing you could do to stop me loving her throughout book 2 & 3. But you can determine for yourself.

THE ENDING had me literally pulling my hair out. I was not expecting that. Well done.

Congratulations Maddy. Thank you to New Dawn for an Early Review Copy of The Queen Thief. All opinions are my own.
