All three stories were really good and had that signature Shirley Jackson spookiness / oddness to them that she’s known for. However, these were less horror-like than the works she’s most known for and while all three stories were good, none of them had that extra touch that makes them unforgettable like, say, We Have Always Lived In The Castle.
