A Prayer for Vengeance by Leanne Schwartz
5.0
I loved Gia and Milo so much!!
Set in a Roman-inspired fantasy world, this book hooked me with its unique concept and its questions about truth and the burden of history (and how it's written by the winners), its badass plus-size female MC, and the thoughtful depiction of an autistic character (the male MC).
I would gladly read more books in this world and can't wait for Leanne Schwartz's next one!
P.S. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review
P.S.2 For some bizarre reason I just realized (in December 2023) that my review hadn't been uploaded here? I was sure I had reviewed this on NetGalley and copy-pasted it here but apparently not...
