Most books with a combination of family (sisters), hidden secrets and romance work for me. This had all that plus Tess makes a living restoring stolen treasures to their owners. I restore furniture. Lots of things to love; the story line, author voice and the little hints throughout.

It's a heartwarming book of simply lovely things and of course there is love.

I'd recommend it as a holiday read (not a weekend). It's 426 pages, so not a quick read, but an easy one none the less. Enjoy.
