This book!!! Talk about a surprise favorite. I went into this expecting a fun spy romance (probs because I don't read blurbs, just pick up a book when Vicki says so), but it was actually a heavy-ish read that has burrowed into my heart. The fact that it spanned decades makes it feel like I've known the characters my whole life, and im so sad-happy (how is this a feeling?!) now that the book is over. It was an intense, but also soft, slow burn romance and I love it.
