Beautiful and captivating. I was so drawn and invested in the characters which I didn't really realise until the last parts of the book. It was a beautiful testament to what it is to be ordinary and finding your own path in life without it being cheesy and cliched, but also about the importance of relationships and all the forms they come in be that familial, platonic or romantic and how they ground us and give us new perspectives. It did open my eyes to the perceptions of others, and was such a good reminder of just the universal struggles of not being seen and how we are all just humans trying to be understood. I really loved this and I think it will really stick with me. Everything felt very normal and not far fetched which I admire since the characters are unconventional but it was really the characterisations and the focus on the relationships and the struggles faced which made it relatable. The innocence of the relationships was very refreshing.
