I absolutely love Robert Bryndza books. The Kate Marshall series has been great so far, and this latest instalment was no different. I was intrigued in the idea of this new case from the start, and definitely wary about some parts of it. I had some figured out, and some only partially figured out, so that when the truth finally came to light at the end, there were still some surprises for me.
I really like both our main characters, Kate and Tristan, and Kate's son Jake was a good addition as always too in his parts that came up. I've always enjoyed cold case drama shows on TV and also found true ones to be interesting, so this being a cold case fiction novel was pretty much guaranteed to hook me.
I cannot wait for more in this series (or the Erica Foster one) and highly recommend.
