We read this book for in person book club. My club puts books in a hat, draws out 2 and we vote from there. I have been putting this one in every month and it finally got picked out of the hat and won the vote by a landslide! And I am sure happy it did. 

Cussy Mary's character makes my heart feel all sorts of emotions. Every time she brings books to people and you see their excitement, hesitance, or sadness I felt it too. Reading about those taking solace in reading and those books she brought truly pulled on my heart strings. The loss of patrons and her own hardships really made this book complete. 

Highly recommend.
