Once again, I never quite know what to expect when I pick up a book by Diane Chamberlain. I feel like all of her books are so varied, that each one catches me off guard. I really enjoyed this one. While the plot was a bit over the top, it was well-written and I was pulled in. The plot jumped around a bit but it was done in a way that mostly was easy to follow. I don't know, I just have such a soft spot for Chamberlain's work, I think I'd let her get away with anything. Even a love interest who owns a hot air balloon company, which just seems like such a wild career choice.
