Foul Play by A.E. Madsen
4.0
This is the third book in the Blue Mountain University series, but the first that I’ve read, so I can say that there is no problem reading it without having read the others. Though previous characters make appearances you never really feel like you’re missing something, but I am intrigued enough to want to go back a read them.
Hayden and Asher’s story was sweet and tender. These two first met at a soccer tournament which leads to one night of fun.
Later, when they find themselves connecting over social media, they fall into a comfortable back and forth that builds into a friendship. A friendship that simmers with feelings of more. And the more time they find themselves wishing the other wasn’t hours away at another school, the more they realize they might have found themselves the one.
This is a slow burn that involves a lot of chatting, connecting, and supporting one another along the way. They are sweet and kind, and it made for a lovely HFN romance.
