I’m not sure if this book is written primarily for middle grades (the age of the main characters) or not, but it’s more of a nostalgic read for this GenX adult as it is set in the 70s, and although the neighborhood is very different from my own it still brings back many memories. The immersion in Lutheran churches, something I share in my own history as well, so far in this book seems unnecessary for the actual plot, and I’ll be interested if that changes in future books.
The main characters, all children, are delightful as they take on the role as dream prophets.
