I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban by Malala Yousafzai
5.0
This was an inspiring read, and beyond that it taught me a lot about a part of the world that I have very little knowledge about. I had heard Malala's story of course, and I'm glad that I have now taken the time to read her account of it. I think it's important to find role models wherever you can, even if on paper they seem very different from you. I have had a very different experience in my life from Malala, but I can still think on this story for encouragement and for a remarkable way of looking at life's hardships.
