This was a really lovely read. I wasn't sure how much I would enjoy a book based on (or as I first thought, exactly the same as) My Neighbour Totoro, the film. But I did enjoy it. It was great to picture everything in my head and use my own imagination. Also, I'm not 100% certain as I haven't watched the film recently but I think this book had some different perspectives – for one thing, only 2 out of 10 chapters actually featured Totoro. I wonder if there's any other similar books for other Ghibli films…
