Dear Grumpy Boss by Julia Wolf
Did not finish book.
DNF 37%
This breaks my heart because I’ve just recently discovered Julia Wolf’s books and instantly fell in love with her writing and stories. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t stand either of these characters. While I could relate to Elise, I couldn’t connect with or care about her much. As for Wes, I found him unbearable most of the time. I get that Wolf tried to make us swoon over his tenderness, but it just wasn’t enough for me to keep reading.
I’ll stick with this series because I started it with[b: P.S. You’re Intolerable|203464350], which was amazing. I loved it so much. I want to believe this was just a fluke and that the second installment will bring us back to our regularly scheduled programming.
