Fall of Ruin and Wrath by Jennifer L. Armentrout
4.0
Finally! A JLA book that was an appropriate length. Lol.
This had as strong of a start as from blood and ash and the prequel series. Please please please Jennifer, don’t turn another good series into a stretched out money grab, we beg you!! This series had a strong start. It’s as predictable as FBAA - different settings, characters, and plot, while also being very obviously from the template. And also, I don’t mind that. Starting off stories with that template always leads to a good read. I’m just praying to the gods that it doesn’t follow the other books’ footsteps.
This was also a fun read because JLA has confirmed that this is a part of her FBAA world. It was fun to see how the two connected. The ending was perfect and left me so eager to read more.
Was this quality literature? No. Was it enjoyable? Yes, very.
PS - reading about the “ridges” of his c*ck was a jump scare. what kind of mountain range is down there?
