I've enjoyed other books by Murphy, and with a plus-sized protag this should be up my street, but was a quarter of the way in and struggling to grasp what the plot of this YA superhero origin story is supposed to be. I'm sure it's hoping to be the start of a series, but it just isn't grabbing me.
