once i got past all the historical contextual world building and set up (which was honestly extremely interesting, just lengthy!) the plot was suchhhh a banger and i was so invested i read it til 2am then wouldn’t put it down at work.

i love luz alana. she is witty and sharp and beautiful and fun. she’s so easy to root for! and yeah yeah i’m a feminist i don’t need a man but evan perhaps might be a man i need. ..
