Tracey Lange has the ability to make you feel everything within her writing while also writing about the raw, human emotion of being a broken human. I was instantly engaged with the characters, I loved how Lange crafted Kyle's character growth to reflect the growth of the unruly hockey team, and I enjoyed the quiet resolve and strength of Casey. It's a hard read, but an impactful one that will sit with me.
