Good but

Was frustrating to read through the entire time that this seemingly intelligent woman is being manipulated and lied to. Might be just me but seemed hard to believe she’d put up with the rudeness and blatant lies as long as she does, considering her personality. But it was still interesting. I did skim through about 100 pages in the middle of the book and it was still enjoyable. Skimming didn’t make the ending hard to understand either.
