As much as I've really enjoyed the first 2 books in this series, this one was a bit too long and complicated for me to follow. It just had a few too many things going on for me to keep track of.
Like the first two books though, I love the history and cultural aspects of the book, the inclusion of recipes and historical context in the end really add something that other books miss out on, a way to really connect with the story.
I also love the strength of Kaveri in every book. She gets so much stronger, and wiser, and really just wants to do the best she can. It's inspiring to read
