One Look by Lena Hendrix

5.0

If Lena Hendrix writes it, I’m going to read it – AND I’m going to LOVE it.

Just wow. This book was a giant hug to my soul. I think everyone deserves to find someone in their life who looks at them the way Wyatt looks at Lark – and everyone deserves someone who can make each day a bit brighter the way Lark does for Wyatt.

And then there’s Penny who had some of the best lines and the best personality… and I secretly (or not so secretly) hope for a book of her own one day (maybe as the end of the series‽).

While Wyatt tries to put down roots for him and his daughter, his job as a college football coach proves to be more challenging than he expected, and Lark seems to be an expert at handling and organizing chaos. But becoming his personal assistant does nothing to assuage the feelings they’re both having – and when they eventually crash together, it’s nothing short of magical. They balanced each other out beautifully, the spicy scenes were INCREDIBLE (my god that bathroom scene tho), and they both made sure the other person felt SEEN. It was perfect.

I seriously just want to read this book again already. There wasn’t enough of Lark and Wyatt to satisfy, but I’m not sure there ever could be enough of them! I highly recommend checking out this beauty… I know I’ll be highly anticipating the upcoming releases of the rest of the series!
