Another great story for the Kindred series. This one centers around a dark Kindred. He was grown in a vat and made of a mix of Kindred DNA and beast DNA. He was never allowed to have feelings but rage. Now he must learn what it is to have feelings. And one beautiful human woman may bring more than he wants. I love the way the main female protects her child and how she never sees his autism as a handicap. And the way the boy and Kindred interact is very touching.
