A List of Things I've Lost by Tiffany Babb

Tiffany Babb’s debut poetry collection embodies the universal pull between the stationary familiarity of home and the attractive movement of the outside world. Filled with stark moments of long-held grief and reflective, reverent silences, Babb’s collection explores passed-down pain through vignettes of memory that feel like a reaching back in time. The strong visual imagery and rich sensory experiences imbue the poems with an alternating sense of lonely longing and comfortable solitude. A LIST OF THINGS I’VE LOST is a wonderful first collection by a poet who I’m sure will publish many more.
