Sense & Sensibility isn't my favorite Jane Austen novel, but it's in the top few. I feel like Jane would've loved this adaption of her story; the gothic was strong in this one. The villain was really unexpected, and the romantic relationships Merrick develops were compelling. It seems like this one isn't going to be a standalone novel, and I'll definitely be picking up the next one!
