I finished this at 3:30am this morning because I just couldn't put this book down. I knew Juliette wouldn't disappoint but damn I wasn't expecting all this. I loved this! I even cried towards the end.
This was one of my most anticipated books of 2024 and it didn't disappoint me.

Una is the princess of Issos but she went through some stuff because she just wanted to save her people. I liked that we started with her being younger so that we could see what she was made of but also to know how she and The Wraith Prince first met.
She is a good princess. She never wants to see her people suffer so when Goll, now The Wraith King, strikes a deal with her that she can't deny because giving her life for her people to live is the least she can do.

Goll is a bit stubborn but man when he goes for it, he goes for it. He thought the princess she saved was solemnly  his enemy but she turned out to be his entire world.
I loved him too. he can be ruthless but he is a king who isn't in it as much for the power in of itself but for the power he gains to help the whole kingdom. He has good intentions in his heart and I loved seeing that side of him.

I loved them together too. Spicy times were spicying and I loved it.

I can't wait to read the next book in this series but also Juliette's new release.
