This book was really cute, and really heartfelt, and truly such a fun read. The MMC (Nick) is such a teddy bear. Allowing the FMC (Shae) to set the pace and boundaries of not only their relationship, but the things from her life they end up facing. Having her back, while allowing her to show how much she can, in fact, handle it, while simultaneously being upfront and honest about his feelings, and loving her, and her daughters, in a way that feels comfortable to them, until they're all just one little family.
I appreciated the way the relationship between Shae and Connor (Nick's grown son) was handled, and I appreciate no third act breakup, I was prepped for it, like oh here it comes and was pleasantly surprised to see them not go that route.
All in a all a really sweet read for the season.
