I Kissed Shara Wheeler by Casey McQuiston
funny
mysterious
medium-paced
4.0
high school drama meets queer sexual tension in this latest McQuiston novel!
I am a dedicated fan to McQuiston books; each one is so unique and lovable and this one was no exception! You immediately fall in love with the main character as she navigates the treacherous world of high school. The descriptions really took me back...I felt like I was back in high school as I read this one. A word of angst, confusion, exploration, and anxiety (for me at least!).
As always, McQuiston added some touches of detail with letters, notes passed, and texts exchanged (always a fun addition to her books). I wish the romance part came a bit sooner, or there was an epilogue!!
