kept picking up and dropping this book for like a month or so. didn’t keep me captivated in the beginning - i was actually surprised at the direction the book went in…. i was not expecting that. but eventually about 2/3rds i started caring for this group of half-siblings dealing with a sticky situation and a no-good father. frustrating characters at times but mostly loveable at the end.
