This is a sweet story, of love and fame and gods and war.
I knew the story of Achilles and Patroclus already, I've read many takes on the Trojan War, and still I loved to revisit these characters, especially from the eyes of Patroclus who is always a side character in the usual Greek epics.
His sweetness, his relentless love, his simple recollection of Achilles's and his time together, it all makes for a nice book to read when you don't want a complicated tale and you love queer stories and mythology.
