This book is so sad and so good. It shows you that the world works in mysterious ways and that its small and caring. I love how well you end up knowing Amanda and Dawson in this book. It's sad that Amanda had to stay with him even though she doesn't love him. But she also knew that before they got married and it's her own fault now. It's also sad that he wouldn't stop drinking until he lost his wife completely and almost lost his son.
