I picked up this book and was half expecting to put it back down again pretty quickly. On the back it said if you love The Hunger Games which I loathe but I knew that's just trying to market dystopian stuff. Which is what I was looking to read to try and immerse myself in that sort of world for what I'm writing.

And I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. The characters, the world and plot twists just work so well. The idea I won't lie, is nothing completely new and special but it's told in a way that works well.

Great book.
