This was really fun! I have some D&D adventure books from the 80s, and this book have that same sort of vibe. You can either start with a pre-made character, or grab a die and roll stats for your own original character. The different paths are nicely varied, there are some interesting surprises, and I liked that you could actually use the treasure and objects you pick up during your adventure, and sell some items if you make it out of the dungeon. Definitely one of the better Choose Your Own Adventure style books I've read!
