Tea for Two and a Piece of Cake by Preeti Shenoy

I was pleasantly surprised when I realised the book had a very nice storyline which I didn’t expect. The flow of the plot was very nice (what plot?!) and it was a little wishful and dreamy at times as well.
A nice romantic story apt for modern Indian population. The ending was rushed but in a way that made sense because there was nothing more to write and everything was already said. The story had to have an ending somewhere and it did - that was how it was. Not really impressive- a very novice writer act.
But apart from that the initial 60% of the story was nice and though some of the plot turns were expected I still could mark few quotes that were so beautiful and apt.
And yes, Akash is a darling. And though the one liner of the story can be equated to the classic Sachin Tendulkar - Anjali love/age difference spin off which is always quoted as examples by 90s kids, it was overall it is a feel good book and a nice one time read.
