Sundial by Catriona Ward

4.0

This was a wild ride.

Sundial explores the horrors with us as well as our family.

Rob has a very toxic family. Her husband is manipulative. Her kids fight all the time and have started taking things to the next level. So, to try and ease the tension in the household, she takes her daughter Callie to the desert to a place known as Sundial. Sundial is where Rob and her sister grew up. But a lot of deadly secrets lay in Rob's past, and she's laying them all out on the line for Callie in hopes of becoming closer with her daughter.

This book was hard to listen to at times. Not because of anything disgusting. But because of how awful this family was to one another.

Still, this book is beautiful. I enjoyed it and glad I got around to it.
