A phenomenal story about power, politics, the many flaws of human nature, and the subjectivity of honor and goodness. I took off half a star because it should be illegal to introduce this many characters and not have their stories converge until the 50% mark. But the payoff was 1000% worth it. I even got a little misty at the end.
