An emotional telling of a family over time. A bit of a stream-of-consciousness narrative, and the audiobook is read by Tom Hanks, which gives Danny good depth, even when you may not like him as you read. Great side characters, with their own personalities and voices. The arc is well done, but the pacing is a little slow—kinda like you’re falling through the years with the characters, so it didn’t bother me too much.
