Gosh, what a bummer this book was. I kept waiting for all the pieces to fall together and for this world to gel. It never really did for me. I found myself bored, skimming, and not finding that "enchantment" I found with Divine Rivals. I just didn't care as much for this relationship, this world. Sadly, I don't think I'll be moving onto the second one.
