Lord Arthur Savile's Crime by Oscar Wilde

5.0

There is something to be said about short stories, about how they are harder to write, to tie up and it is harder to convince the audience. But in this tiny novella Wilde employs a mildly unlikeable character and drags him into an amusing narrative, that keeps the reader attending. Brief enough to maintain a character like that, but long enough to have sufficient events and a punchy ending, Lord Arthur Savile's Crime is an enjoyable little 50 min commute read.
