Succumb to the Night by Jay Leigh

5.0

Found family & true love.

Succumb to the Night by Jay Leigh is great book that begins with a bit of tragedy and trauma; some new to this book, and some carried over from the previous books in the series. It ends in a sweet culmination of everyone's lives settling into stability, some even living their best lives! One of the latter characters is Taz.
Taz has never known sweetness, kindness, or love from anyone including (especially) family. The only possible exception comes in the form of a dysfunctional former relationship with the President's son, with whom he still has a tenuous friendship. Aside from that, he really has no friends either, even though his boss really wants that. Taz learns not to expect anything good so he can't ever be disappointed.
Over the course of the book, Taz learns he is capable of loving and being loved. His friends find true happiness, and many people learn many lessons, all while simultaneously saving the world from the threat that began with book one!
I loved this series and especially enjoyed the culmination in this final book.
You'll find healing & comfort, sweetness & spice, found family & personal growth. It's a lovely book.
