shout out to casey mcquinston for absolutely getting what young queer teens need. one last stop and i kissed shara wheeler are everything to me, a young lesbian with a huge thing for sappy chick flick rom-coms. this is the paper towns everyone DESERVES.
it's just so amazing to read this book and realize, this is exactly what i need. after watching so many amazing romcom movies designed for straight teens, left with this aching feeling that this could never happen for someone like me, especially because i live in the bible belt, i get to have a lovely escape from it all. i get to read something that COULD happen to me. i can't put into words how important that is. also, the nuance on escaping a place like the bible belt? it was just too real! this book feels MADE for me in so many ways i cant even describe!!
