i have many feelings and i’m really annoyed my library doesn’t have the sequel available straight away

it was very entertaining and i liked that but im actually so annoyed about the story even tho i think it was done well

like alyce turning into the dragon and basically turning the kingdom into the sleeping beauty story we know was very cool

but idk like yeah it was entertaining but i saw most of the character plot twists coming and a lot of the story gave cartoon villain vibes like everyone from rose to

kal/spoiler> the only character that seemed semi 3d was laurel

and im pissed off alyce killed her. also hilde?!?! she better be more than she seems and survive this mess

but then again it is a fairytale retelling and that’s very accurate in that sense ?

i’d just wished it’d gone a different way

i cannot fathom a happy ending like there’s no way aurora is going to be cool with alyce killing everyone and ye okay it’s not 💯 just alyce cause she’s partially possessed by that vila but STILL. OH AND ALSO i found it so annoying how aurora got so mad at alyce for doing the king’s bidding like hun you know how the world works she had no choice???! he’s literally THE KING

i’m keep going back and forth with my star rating because i was disappointed in the story and how it went but i was SO entertained

i feel like the characters and main plot was a 2 maybe

then entertainment like a 4

and that last bit although not what i wanted was a 4.75 in terms of entertainment and just HOLY SHIT THATS ACTUALLY COOL FACTOR
