[second read, july 13 2021, 5 stars] this is just so goddamn good. i am a huge huge fan of bendis’s new avengers and dark avengers and this is a great end to both of those arcs. such a fun read. probably my favorite event along with original sin and civil war.
[first read, march 22 2021, 4 stars] wow i actually liked this quite a bit more than i thought i would! i only read siege prelude, siege itself, and siege: new avengers (plus new avengers vol 10-12 but that’s not really directly involved with this), and not the thor or dark avengers or any of the other tie ins and i was able to follow alone just fine. there was a lot going on and a lot of characters were involved but i didn’t find it too overwhelming or confusing and i think everything was balanced really well. really enjoyed this!!!! if you like new avengers i would recommend reading this
