I loved reading this. After not being able to read for most of September, this was a much needed and perfect book to get back into reading with. It reminded me how much I love reading.

I adored Rae and Leon. They had such fun scenes together with their sass, banter and sexual tension. After an extremely stressful time, having characters which are just mainly fun was a welcome. I thought their relationship was really well explored from both of their views. I love being able to see the thoughts and feelings from both sides of the relationship.
The plot was also really fun and interesting. It has a lot of Cthulhu Mythos/Lovecraftian vibes when reading, something I didn't think I would enjoy as much as I did. It was a perfect read for the spooky season and the spooky readathons.

Surprisingly this was my first adult romance book with a demon in it. Despite how perfect demons and fantasy romance go together in my head, I haven't seen many books. This is defiantly something I'll have to look into more.

TLDR; 10/10 Perfect book to get back into the reading mood with fun spice.
