Tommy had ran from Mateo in Book 3 when their sexual encounter brought back some painful memories. In this book, Mateo comes for Tommy.
This book fell short for me because it felt like the side stories the author often gives AFTER a full novel. This one was so short and was a moment/period in their story. I really wished it had been a full novel like the prior 3 books because Tommy and Mateo have a great story.
