wow... another band, another complete discography i have gone through. the beatles are truly amazing, like the innovation, the people themselves... i know the word "iconic" gets used so much these days that it almost has no meaning--but for this band it's fitting. this book gave me enough backstory for the songs without going too much into production and bogging down my movement through all of their songs. my one qualm was not going a little too deep into the actual beatles' personal lives and kind of informing the reader about how their lives changed from album to album BUT i guess the book really only focuses on the songs themselves, so i can't fault it too much. still an enjoyable read and really got me through all of their songs!!
